The only reason you aren't getting any replies or posts is because most people have given up or gotten iPods. I know I'm out of luck getting a replacement, but I need satisfaction - I don't want much - just to get my $150 paperweight to do more than just sit there. I even went so far as to manually add it as a legacy device. no scratches, good battery (holds a charge for around 5 hours or less continous - I play videos and/or music mostly), but my vids and music from 6 months ago are getting old.Įarlier today I gave up and formatted it (erased all data), uninstalled all my usb ports and peripherals, and everything else I wasn't currently using in the hopes maybe, just maybe I could get ANY of my computers to recognize it. No - it's not under warranty, and it is not damaged. 2 Vista Premium SP1, 1 Vista Basic SP1, 1 XP SP2. Hello all, I finally discovered how to get the Zune HD to work on Windows 10 build 10162 First you need to install the Zune software, in the installation folder you'll find a folder named Drivers - just plug in the Zune HD and using the Device Manager install the driver using that folder. The Zune itself works fine - it charges, it plays music, videos, and radio, etc. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled (rinse, repeat,), I have even gone so far as purchasing a $42.00 Zune cable kit from BB, and even reinstalled Vista Premium in the hopes that it might help. I have been checking out forums, reading tech guides, and have basically done everything but fire my zune from a cannon to get it to cooperate.
